Ed (rottweiler/pit cross) has been wearing one of these for a couple of years now and when it wears out he'll have another. It's an excellent design; strong as anything, easy to put on, with a sturdy grab handle and a useful D-ring in front for gentle tugs back onto the One True Path when his attention wanders. It's much lighter than a leather harness, and if he rolls in the mud it goes into the washing machine. The only thing his Person objects to is the velcro label space - the blank option is OK, but a no-velcro-no-label version would be better still.

We have a boxer/pitt puppy that weights about 55 pounds or more and loves to pull when using a regular neck collar. I bought this harness for my parents' 18 month old German Shepherd. My mom was not able to walk him due to his strength. We couldn't slow him down with a prong collar, nylon training collar, or choke collar. This is the only thing that works for him. We can walk him along side my puppy shepherd. The shipping was fast and the quality of the harness is great. Once my puppy is full grown I will be buy a harness for him!

Dear Natasha, I wanted to let you know that the harness arrived, and is in use three times a day! It's perfect for my 6 month old English Bull Terrier Tilly. She hates wearing collars, but is very comfortable in the harness. More importantly, it's been very useful in training her - plus, any signs of trouble or unwanted attention from other dogs, I can simply pick her up out of harms way, without causing her any discomfort.
